9o Day Paper In Passport

Featured Replies

Yesterday we arrived in BKK on a BA flight from London. I hold a Non-Imm Multiple Reentry Permit (married to Thai wife). At the airport immigration my passport was stamped but nothing was attached to it saying that I had to contact Immigration after 90 days.

Has the rule been changed?

Sounds like you have a multi entry non-immigrant O visa? The 90 day reports would only apply if you have extended this in Thailand based on marriage, otherwise you will have to do border runs every 90 days.

What visa/ extension do you have?

You have to report 90 days from arrival if you do not leave the country again.

Yes, marriage. I renew it every year for another year.

The question was do you have a one year multi entry visa issued by a Consulate, (enter every 90 days) - or do you have a one year extension of stay issued by Immigration? If you use 90 day visa entry you never have to do any 90 day address reporting. If you have one year extension from Immigration you do 90 days after your return.

No matter what the reporting date is on that white paper they staple in the back of your passport, your next reporting day is 90 days from the day you re-enter the country
