There are some small insects (Beetles?) that smell really bad if you crush them. Does anyone know what they are? The smell seems to linger for hours.

Just had this slide out from under the bed , and when it was despatched to the big bug home in the sky , did it smell

it was about 3 inches long and looked like a cross between a scorpion and some thing else

No can't help you there, I tried to find out more info on them myself in the past but came up with next to nothing, all I know is they are only ever at ground level, they seem to like wet places like the shower, I have seen them in black and brown. good luck in your search...

i touched one once and it did smell really bad, they have them in Europe as well coz I can remember leaving some of them in my mates bed. he was not happy. i dont know what they are called though. but they sure do stink.

When I say small, about 2 mm or 1/8" i.e. minute.
