Downloading Thai Onto Phone

Featured Replies

I brought an iphone style mobile from China as a gift for a friend. She wanted to have thai added (it presently functions in English). But a shop - which asked 1500 baht to do this - has returned it after failing to do the download. He claims this particular model can't be so adapted. Has anyone had this done, or can recommend a top rate shop/man to attempt it for me - preferably in Chiang Mai but otherwize in Bangkok ?

Are you sure it's a genuine iPhone?

No it's not a genuine iPhone. There are a number of these 'iphone style knock offs openly sold out there of varying qualities at correspondingly varying prices. I bargained the best of these models down to about 5000 bht equivalent - reckoned that was worth buying. It works fine. But the one shop I tried failed to find a programme online to download thai language.
