This forum has given me alot of useful info -- I'm coming to Thailand late June for a 6 month stay. I will then decide if I want to make it longer....

Background info -- I am now 22 and have been living on my own and playing poker for a job for 4 years. I have lived in vegas and atl city, but mostly play online.

Sorry to hear that.

It is a very cut throat, thankless and sometimes downright degenerate life I live, but I have managed to do well.

Degenerate gambling is a disease (like alcoholism) keep going to those meetings! Keep your head up and just remember -- there ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WOULD KILL TO BE IN YOUR POSITION.

Why would I ask you? You're a rookie. I have a close friend who has been a professional poker player for 15 years, and also works as a day-trader.

I'm sorry I would love to know more. But gambling is illgeal in Thailand. At least for now.
