Re-entry Permit Needed?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I entered Thailand in January ’08 with a multiple entry O-A visa. This visa expires in December ’08. I was stamped in for 1 year on my arrival at Suvarnabhumi. Did my 90 day report in April. No problems.

I plan to take a 1 week trip to the Philippines (next week) and then return to Thailand. Since I still have a valid multiple entry visa I am thinking that there shouldn’t be any need for a re-entry permit. And, upon returning to Thailand I should get another 1 year stamp and begin a new 90 day cycle.

Is this correct? Is there anything further I should be aware of on this?

Any/all feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

That is how I see it Mark.

Correct - up until visa expiration in December (not permitted to stay date but visa expiration date) you do not need a re-entry permit. Any return that will be later than that would.
