Savanna
Please advise If I am changing from a tourist visa to a non-immigrant visa because I will be volunteering for one of the foundations in Chiang Mai: 1. Can I go to Bangkok to do it 2. Can my husband and daughter also get theirs changed at Bangkok at the same time 3. If I have to go to Penang do I need a visa to get into Penang? Thanks
Mario2008
You can apply at any immigration office, same goes for your family. Note that you will need a workpermit to work as volunteer and need a form from the labour office that you will get a WP, in order to get the visa from immigration. As for the visa for Penang I'm not sure, but I don't believe you need one.
