3g And True Move

Featured Replies

I would like to buy a new Blackberry phone so I can use google talk to call home when abroad. Can I do this at any free hotspot? Is there 3g coverage in the southern provinces yet? I would like to check e-mails while on the move as well. I would like to know more about blackberry connect, is it available outside of Bangkok through true move?

???

I would be surprised if, when 3G is released, they allow Skype type phone calls. Shooting themselves in the foot if they did.

Yah thats what I thought but google talk is pre installed on the new blackberry's. "Support for instant messaging with BlackBerry® Messenger, Google® Talk and Yahoo!® Messenger" from http://www.pattayadailynews.com/shownews.p...NEWS=0000005295 . It isn't clear if it can be used for voice messages ie: speaking or not. I hope so
