Anybody else having emails mysteriously disappear? Some times a message will say the usual non delivered thing but some just don't arrive for no apparent reason. This has only happened in the last 5 days or so and no problems before that and yes My servers are configured correctly using Tot as the outgoing. Really frustrating and would be yet another deterrent for anyone considering opening a biz here. Yesterdays article in Bkk post seems to back up my suspicions

"My servers are configured correctly using Tot as the outgoing."

That is not correctly! I guess nothing for internet in Thailand is configured correctly, even the bank server crash all the time.

You have the strangest things in thailand happening, lost packages, wrong packages, complete weired things that even let a dsl router crash

As long as you don't need good speed inside Thailand (selling localy) use a server outside Thailand.

I tried using my sever in Australia is incoming and outgoing but with Tot that means 100% incoming emails and 95% failed sent emails.

May you explain what you mean with "YOUR" Server?!

It is your own server or the server of the ISP?

I using my own, in house server's which includes my Mail Server as well. I have different ways to use the outgoing SMTP Server like the SMTP from the ISP or the SMTP from my DNS Service Provider or any other third party SMTP Server!

For imcoming Mail I can use several different services like POP3, iMap or others. For this I have the service running via my DNS Service Provider.

If you using the service from your ISP, here TOT, you are limited to their service or better the service they give to you.

To get more help about your problem, you need to show more spec's

Cheers.

That is not correctly!

Why is that not correct?

From what I understand, if you use TOT, you have to use their SMTP server. OP is correct.

Sorry to hear about your problems zorro1. I am moving to a TOT connection in a couple of days :o

Here is an etract from the link In my post

"This can be seen in the way YouTube is now all but unusable for TOT subscribers, and how sending large email messages through a foreign server on port 25 often fails, while encrypted, non-standard ports or VPN access over the same network works fine".
