Moving Household Things From Pattaya To Buriram

I'd be grateful for any experience or recommendations of removal firms or "man and van" to take some household things to Buriram. Doesn't have to be a big van but a pick up is too small (have one anyway). It will be a one way trip so he's on his own after he drops the stuff off.

Could be a guy from Buriram who can collect from Pattaya or vice versa.

If anyone has used one I'd be grateful for their comments.

I'd check with the locals in Buriram. For me (moving from Phuket to Roi Et) we just asked around where to rent a big truck (they usually come with two drivers) and then rounded up a dozen or so friends and family to do the actual moving. They started off for Phuket and I flew down to meet them and oversee things. I flew back and everything was waiting for me. I'd recommend getting friends and family involved as they will look out for your belongings during the journey or you could just tag along in the truck but it wouldn't be very comfortable!

Good luck!

Six months ago I moved a bunch of household stuff from Pattaya to Kalasin. A full size 6 wheel truck load, almost equivalent to a 20 ft container, stake bed with canvas cover. 4 guys to load from 11th floor condo, set off to Kalasin about noon, one guy only. Arrived about 10 pm. He slept in the truck overninght. Unloaded at dawn the next day using faminly and friends. He drove back the next day, empty.

Total cost about 11,000 baht inlcuding tip. Would be a bit more now due to fuel cost rises. Nothing broken or stolen. All in all, a rare experience for things going smoothly. Would recommend their service. They are based in BKK. Family run busienss.

Anyway, hope that helps give perspective.
