Has anyone heard about an outfit called TLM - The Thailand Longstay Company ?

Among other things, and for a fee ranging from 1,500 to 28,000 baht per person, they offer

"TLM and police's Immigration Bureau have been in cooperation to provide the Fast Tracks for the passport check points at the airport designed to help our customers get through bureaucrat procedures smoothly. Starting from the plane gate, our customers will receive special hospitality welcome from TLM receptionists , plus arranging privileged passport checking through TLM Fast Tracks . Then TLM receptionists will take care of baggage claim and all formalities till the customers smoothly reach the exit outside."

Comments would be appreciated for German friends of mine who will be staying in Khao Lak for upto 7 months each year for the next 6 years.

It's just a retirement visa (800k in the bank, above 50 years old) with lipstick on (fast track at airport and some health insurance).

If not 50 then can't get the visa (but the other stuff is possible).
