Retrieving Deleted Text Messages From Sim Cards

Featured Replies

I've heard that it's possible to extract/retrieve/recover deleted SMS messages from a mobile phone SIM card. I always figured this was just malarkey, but I now find myself in the position of having deleted some texts I'd like to recover - if such a process exists. Anyone have any experience with this?

Yep. You can buy sim card readers (USB) and software to recover/backup SMS mesages, contacts etc. However, some phones keep the messages on the phone and not on the sim, so the sim will not have them. This was my problem with the last 3 phones I have had, I could not backup my SMS Msgs directly., but contacts etc was there

http://www.datadoctor.org/partition-recovery/sim-card.html The do say you need a USB Sim card reader.

Good one, thanks, Tywais. I'm sure I can find a SIM reader locally.
