THAI's fuel surcharge to soar by up to 70%

Thai Airways International yesterday announced it would raise its fuel surcharge from 750 to 850 baht for domestic flights, and its fuel surcharge for international flights will soar by 70% from a range of 1,980 to 9,273 baht (at an exchange rate of 33 baht to the US dollar) depending on the distance. The new surcharge will take effect on June 25.
