If I notice slow speeds I reboot my router/gateway. Usually fixes the problem.

How do you do that?

If your modem router has a;

Power switch - turn the power switch off and then back on (rebooted)

No Power switch - pull the power cable out and plug it back in or turn the wall switch off then back on (rebooted)

TOT ADSL in Jomtien is no better.....even worse than 'dial up'. I thought that it might be something to do with installing Firefox 3 but IE7 is the same. I can go an make a couple of sandwiches and some tea whilst a page of ThaiVisa Forum is loading!!

Its slow most of the time on TT&T in Pattaya Tai

I notice today - in Soi Onnut - I can download files from good overseas servers at +/- 215 kbps on my 2 meg line. I am very pleased with that. I took a 30 MB file from Nokia at that speed. 2.5 minutes.

Fact MICT is monitoring ALL it can in IP traffic.As well as Blocking over 17,000 web sites.(Granted Much porn!Welcome move on that one!)

MICT Has also publicly admitted to the BBC amongst others it's intent to Phise and Hack "Sites it deems offensive and replace or remove content located in contries outside of Thailand".

This scenario of coarse makes Information integrity ZERO!AS well as SLOWING the connection speed for us ALL!

Do I trust people in the MICT to read My passwords and other information ?Do Corporations think that "Insider Trading" won't Happen? My answer is, NINE NIX NO MI OW!

The slowing Internet IS NOT Software,nor Servers on You Providers.No not even Your Own Poor computer.IT IS

the MICT and it's cheap spy software and the incompetent trying to learn how to use it!

I have had 3 Phising attacks This week,Attempting to gain My codes during transmition to My Domain Host Provider(US Based).This While trying to upload My Web sites.(My Host server shows tracer info when I was cut off>IP's are MICT. Fortunately I'm on the OSX(Mac) Which disconects when firewall integrity is breached(OK by a more Primitive use of spyware!The Better stuff I am sure can get through Most security.)

My Youtube Channel I have Developed for 2 Yrs, can't watch anything!Therefore can't interact.I and Mrs suppose it's time to do some packing soon! We had hoped the New Govt would sort it but.......
