In anther thread play-asia.com was recommended as a reliable source for Xbox toys. The site even give the prices in THB, but it seems like it's in Hong Kong. Has anybody bought a game console from these guys? Do they incur import duties when shipped to Thailand? The price seems good, a bit lower than local shops here in Pattaya, but if they hit it with import duties it would quickly be more expensive than just buying it locally...

It depends on who is on duty at the tax office I think.

I bought a wii from Ebay and I had to pay tax for that one

I think you should expect to be taxed on the xbox.

The boyfriend occasionally buys games from PlayAsia and ALWAYS gets taxed on them so I would definitely expect the same with a console.
