Closest Border From Bangkok!

Featured Replies

Title explains itself, so what is the quickest or easiest!

My 90 days are up soon so i need to exit and re enter!

The closest border is Aranyapratet (Cambodia) which is about three hours drive from Bangkok. If you want to do it on your own, you can take a public bus from Mo Chit and cross the border yourself, however most visa runners use Jack's Golf service who offer a turn-key package including transport, completing the visa formalities and lunch for 2200 baht. They leave at 5pm from Sukumvit Soi 12, and return at 1pm every day. You can read more here: http://www.jackgolf.com/en/

Thanks for the advice, but is there a border crossing near to koh chang on the mainland as i would be interested in staying there 1 - 2 nights?

Koh Chang's closest border crossing is the Hat Lek - Koh Kong Border. This Thai Visa link may help.

Technically the closest border from Bangkok would be Suvarnabhumi Airport :o but I guess you refer to a Visa Run in to Cambodia. Then the best option is Aranyapratet. Making a trip there takes 10hrs all together. Most of the time my friends are back before 4pm,

leaving Morchit around 5 am.
