toybits
I have seen a number of traffic signal lights that are obscured by tree branches, banners or other traffic signs. How do they expect us to stop at red lights when we cannot even see the damned thing?
sceadugenga
I think you have to be a native born Thai to see them, my good lady has had to point them out to me on a number of occasions. In a rather abrupt and unkind manner as well. Edited June 18, 2008 by sceadugenga
toybits
I wonder what happend to those count-down devices to tell you when the lights are going to change. They had them at See Yeak Mae Korn but they seemed to be shorting out rather frequently. The engineers must have forgotten to weather proof the damned thing. So best thing is just to remove it. Bwahaha... Nice Job Mr. Traffic Engineer. Forgot about the violent storms we have in Chiang Rai in March and April didn't you??? Rather liked those count-down devices. But I find I have less time looking at pretty girls on motorcycles. So probably better that they are gone. Now I have more quality time when I am stuck at the Red lights.
