anyone ever had some painting done and knows about some pricing?

Go Fast on Soi Nong Pru (the Soi that runs parallel to Soi Siam Country Club on the other side of Mabprachan Lake) are supposed to be good and cheap,Also where Soi Nong Pru meets Sukhumvit on the other side of Sukhumvit there is another very good spray shop.

I have used both places but only for small touch up jobs (wimmin drivers :o ) so can't say prices for bigger jobs :D

I believe Go Fast is Farrang owned

Seen a couple of jobs at go fast and they were total crap.Poor colour matching, parts not fittinf ets.In my opinion as a former paint specialist the jobs i saw were terrible and very amatuerish.I had a full respray, including bumpers off and interior too and except for the colour being lighter than before the job was pretty good for 30,000 baht. The place is the one before soi chaiaprook 1,off jomtien beach rd.The repray was done in cellulose and not 2 pack but the quality was very good.It is a thai body shop on the left, half way up and doesnt look very good from the outside but he does a good respray.

i served one year of a apprenticeship in a paint shop in a VW dealer when i left school.

i had the hood of my Mercedes done at the Sukhumvit road paint shop, i referred to in an earlier post

its silver and was not an easy match, when i saw the finished job, i thought it was ok.

the owner of the shop did not, he ordered it repainted.

that convinced me i had come to the right place

that was 3 years ago and the paint is still 100%

it cost 2000baht

do you mean across from Spanish Condo ?

If its the same place as loads of insurances repairs are done, it the worst i have ever seen.

Professional as a doughnut, cheap and nasty for insurance companies. :o:D:D

The one next to the high end showroom on Sukhumvit did a really bad job on mine!!

When i had a accident with a motorbike last year my insurance company sended me there.

What a mistake.

I could do it better myself..

The door they had to spray was black but came back with silver metallic stains on it..
