Dianna Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I AM LOOKING FOR INFO AS TO THE PROBABILITY OF MY CAT BEING QUARANTINED UPON ENTERING THAILAND (CHIANG-MAI) FROM THE U.S.
beechguy Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 You may find the information you want in the "plants, pets and vets" topics section. At the top of that page there are some pinned items, also you may have a better chance of getting the information if this was posted there.
sbk Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 There is a pinned topic, importing a pet into thailand that you would do well to read through first. Also, a note, posting in all caps is considered shouting and therefore rude. Next time please post normally, thanks.
Nienke Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 I have had several times dogs and cats coming straight from the airport to my boarding kennel. If your paper work is in order and your cat is healthy, then there is no quarantine in Chiang Mai. Officially there seems to be a one month quarantine period, but that can be done at your own house (or with the abovementioned animals at the boarding kennel). Nienke
