June 20, 200818 yr Hi all, if my gf is succesful is with a vv application, how soon is it before she can apply for the same visa or settlement visa? i imagine that if she gets a visit visa for 6 months, then arrives back in TH, she will not be allowed to apply again straight away. if somebody knows......? thanks
June 20, 200818 yr If she spends six months in the UK as a visitor, there is nothing stopping her applying for another visit visa straight away, but it is likely to be refused as she will have just spent six months in the UK and the visa officer would probably question her intention to leave. Settlement visas are judged by different criteria. Scouse.

June 20, 200818 yr By the very nature of a settlement visa, the applicant does not have to demonstrate an intention to leave the UK. Scouse.
June 20, 200818 yr Author Yes, i understand that. In your experience...if a couple have known each other for around 15 months, and had several meetings ect, would the Embassy entertain an application for a settlement visa? Or is it generally for couples that have been together for a longer period? Thanks
June 20, 200818 yr In my experience, it depends upon a multiplicity of factors which cannot, singularly, be identified. Scouse.
