The Combination Of Thai Home And Western Home

Featured Replies

has anyone ever combined thai home and western home?

or has ever thought about that?

next year or about late of this year,

i may get a thai home to put in front of the western home

i'm living now.

the ideas are to let foreign friends living at the side of thai home and thais

at the side of western home.

still working on that..

any ideas are welcome.

thanks a lot.

Not sure what you mean by Thai home.

If you mean made from wood and elevated, no air con or ubc, a bucket for a shower, mosquito netting, outdoor kitchen like the stereotypical upcountry abode, I am guessing your guests would probably appreciate a more Chinese Thai style = big, 5 aircons, uncomfortable and unsightly furnishings, colour schemes for the colour blind.

If I was your friend, I think I would rather stay in your house and let you sleep in your Thai house. But that's just me, peharps your friends could use with a little black box treatment ala Bridge on the River Kwai? :o

wow :o

many thanks for your msg, bkkjames.

i had a big laugh with your words.

i could see another side of the coin...

human can think differently and we should give spaces - peace for any differences.

enjoy reading your ideas though.

well, i saw many western friends coming to thailand for

thai art, thai homes and thai food, thai...

so i would like to take care of them and let them

feel happy living in thai environment...

actually, i myself like thai home a lot.

maybe i should follow your suggestions

to stay at thai home myself.

ha ha ha
