I am interested in buying and selling gold coins, whether it be Krugerrands, American Eagles, Maple Leafs or Chinese Pandas. Are there storefront locations within the Bangkok province that buy and sell coins with reasonable markups?

Thailand doesn't do coins, except as numismatics. The idea of coins as a good way to store and trade gold is a completely western concept. It is alien to Thailand.

If you need to buy/sell coins and don't want to pay numismatic pricing for collector sets, you need to head to Singapore, where they have adopted a more western attititude. I would recommend Mustafa Centre.

Thailand does bullion. Either 96.5% or 99.99%. If you want something acceptable as a domestic store of value, bullion is your only option.
