HB2010 Posted June 22, 2008 Share Posted June 22, 2008 Hello, I need some advice on how to get my Thai partner a 6 month visa for the USA. We plan on living in the USA for 6 months and in Thailand for the other 6 months. I'm an American who is employed, a home in the USA and my Thai partner currently works in the UK and has for 2 years. thaihome Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 What does "partner" mean? Are you using in the code it usually associated with it? If so, your "partner" will have to prove to the US consulate that your partner intends to return to Thailand after visit. If your partner is successful in obtaining the visa, your partner would probably get a 10 year multi entry visa and would usually get a 6 month permission to stay stamp on each entry.
