Simbo
Hi guys. I have done something with my comp, and now I'm getting a message reads. Please wait while windows configures 'Tray App' After a minute or so, a new one comes up. The feature you are trying to use is not on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is available. Please insert the Tray App disk and click OK. I have tried to no avail to cancel this, but it still stays on my screen. Also, it's stopping me doing downloads, as it tells me another application is running. Any help or advice much appreciated. Thanks in advance. JSixpack
Maybe you installed something lately like an HP printer. Put in the CD-ROM so that Tray App can find it and configure itself, or uninstall and reinstall the hardware; or Look in Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and see if you can find Tray App and remove it; or Just go : START + RUN. Then type msconfig. And choose the tab Auto Start. See if you find Tray App and shut it down.
