For some reason I am unable to access sites like ebay and music related sites that i haunt etc.

but can access TV and a few other Thai sites.

This has only recently happened.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what might be my problem?

Possibly unreliable DNS servers. Try OpenDNS. Fast. Free. Reliable.
