Looking At Your Phone

Featured Replies

Don't use the phone book. I have all the numbers I use memorized. I suppose you guys all use calculators to do double and triple digit math as well?

:o

Yes. My math ability is on par with your average Sukhumvit market stall trader.

Wow. It sounds to me like there isn't a cultural gap here regarding privacy, but a huge gaping cultural abyss. I cannot imagine ever going through a man's phone, or his email, or his wallet. I expect the same courtesy.

I think that there is more going on here than just jealous snooping, although that is certainly being done. I think I see a masterful manipulation technique at work. Won't let her check your phone? You're obviously hiding something. Let her see your phone? She'll find something suspicious. It's a lose-lose proposition for the man, and win-win for the woman. She gets you to do something, or not do something, to try to prove you aren't a player. Ah, those sweet submissive Thai ladies. :o Up to you, in your dreams, dude.

The trouble with my girlfriend is she codes all her contact in Thai, so I can't read them to check who has called her. :o
