Need Free Software To Search A Webpage For A Word

You don’t need any extra software to search a web page for a particular word. Your Internet browser has this search function built in. You don’t say what browser you use but with Microsoft Internet Explorer you press Ctrl+F (or click on Edit, then click on Find on this Page...), type the search word, press Enter.

Same Same (ctrl F) on Mozilla firefox. Will get a little box bottom left of screen. Type word + hey presto.

Thanks.

It would be much more obvious if they entitled the feature, on I.E., 'Search for a Word' in line with the regular 'Search' function via the Start button.

Also noticed that Microsoft has changed the paste icon to be different on Explorer 7 from 6 and Word ... and both styles are equally counter-intuitive!
