Pushit
anyone know how to change the engine oil and what model of oil filter yamaha mio has? Take it to a shop and they will do all of that for you. I you are a foreigner they may also try to charge you double so go with your Thai GF. goldfish
anyone know how to change the engine oil and what model of oil filter yamaha mio has? Change oil. Remove 14mm bolt from bottom of engine, drain oil and clean strainer (carb cleaner ideal if you have). Refill with sae 10w-40 till visable at refill hole with bike standing upright. No filter. Air filter. Remove 4x 8mm bolts and plastic cover from in front of rear wheel and clean with compressed air. Take to bike shop and do yourself (thai 'mechanics' haven't progressed to cleaning filters yet). Auto drive. Drain oil by removing 8mm bolt frombottom/rear of auto drive and refill with correct oil from Yamaha. Remove 4x 8mm bolts and plastic cover from atop auto drive and remove sponge filter. Clean in water. If new mio then first remove entire plastic cover (held on with 2 bolts and large jubilee clip). Change spark plug at 10,000km

Datsun240Z
It's an automatic I see. Transmission: check the roller weights for wear, and the v-belt. Engine: every 5000 km check the valve settings ( play ) and change the oil 10w30 is fine. NO need to change the gear oil ever. Only if there are leaks. And most important -> check the brakes.
