Have 2 questions in 1.. as often, for those who know well the rules here.

Am I understanding well when I read one can ask at immigration office for visa change from tourist visa to non-0/married visa?

And what means the "21 days before visa expiration"? Can these 21 days run during visa extension?

2. 21 days or more remaining on your permitted to stay until stamp (Immigration stamp when you enter country). Yes they could be during the first 8 days of a 30 day tourist visa extension.

What I was refering to.... After 2 years in thailand with tourist visas or visa run, I will be married - to a thai lady - and registered in a few days...

So, I am still a little bit confuse with that O visa and that 1 year extension.

I got that one and will not forget to count 8 and not 9 days. You are so right!

You can also obtain a 60 day breather extension of stay to be with the wife if you want more time.

7.23 In case of entering for

visiting a Thai wife /

husband or child.
