Firefox 3 - Jerky Scrolling And Cursor Movement

Featured Replies

Just installed Firefox three last couple of days (on my laptop) and noticed that scrolling seems very slow and jerky. Also, cursor movement seems pretty slow and clunky as well. Anyone else notice this?

I had noticed it before in Firefox 2 but only when the downloads window is open. In FF3 it seems to be a constant 'feature' ?

Haven't noticed this, though the downloads issue is related to the listing function. If you keep the list of downloads, and don't 'clean up' upon occasion, it can slow things down markedly.

Regards

PS Should add, one thing is to switch off system check pointing, and then re enable it. This clears out the unneeded historic checkpoints, which again can become a drag on the system.
