go to http://www.freedrweb.com and download from there the prog CureIt and run it. If the Trojan wouldn't find, rebott the computer in Safe mode and run a full CureIt again. It's possible that the Trojan is read only and in normal mode not to delete.

CureIt didn't need any registry pp entries to run and will run in Safe Mode very well.

Any more problems, please post here.

Cheers.

Oh man they SUCK!!!. Did you open a msn link or accept some strange file? There are few "vundo Fix" programs around. Try downing them on to a USB key or external hard drive and running it thou it. Some people have had success with them some have had to totally reformat with out backing up. Everyone can be a little different.

No virus scan can clean them up, and in time the "Vundo" will totaly fark up your com.

I frankly ask you to use TV standard formatting in your post, which means, use the features of of this board instead of your own formatting which isn't work here. Take a look at the pictures to see what I mean becaus all of your post looks like that:

Thanks for your cooperation.

Please do NOT start tow topics about the same problem, because in your other topics you get already advices and you should post ther.

I will now merge that 2 topic together.

Sorry about that but I see it as 2 different topics one to get rid of something and the other one to prevent it in the future from happening. When it happens to be able to remove it and not have to come here and ask again.

the first topic was a specific question about a trojan the second topic was a general question

but opinions differ here

What is the best antivirus programm and spy ware/ad ware remover?

I recommend booting UBCD4win from a CDrom or USB stick and then running spybot , adaware and avast - full tutorials are available in their forums - too much malware has its hooks deep into windows so you are best not even booting it if you want to be sure of cleaning a system.

Those two very close together and instead of someone need to write twice is better to have them together and save time and effort of others. Make the live a bit more easy!

This is excellent advise. To confirm I had this Trogan last month on one of my PC's and the latest download of CureIt cured it. WinDefender was hopeless.

Now using real time WinDefender with free SuperAntiSpy as protection against spyware.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is free to TRY, but not entirely free. At least that's what download.com says. My concern in cases like this is that dll files are left on my computer once the free time period has expired.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway, gazzasore. :o

Malwarebytes is free to use

Manual updates

If you want it to monitor your system have auto scan and have auto updates you pay

Its a very good program
