kiakaha
What Thai words or sayings do you find funny? With my limited Thai I know there's a lot out there that we all can learn by having some fun .my favorite is 'uhhh-ahh' ... this mean 'ya, ya, i know' any thai words spoken by foreigners that cant read/write/pronounce thai adequately...i sometimes chuckle at. I have always found ชักว่าว amusing.Literally means "pulling your kite to and fro" or "flying your kite"...slang for male wanking. My wanking action is NOTHING like my kite action LOL Thanks kiakaha for letting us know, too much info. May be you need a Thai kite lesson. Just watch this guys physical movements....i think one only wanks like that in the Eden club
toptuan
fuk = squashdum = black prik = chili The word for black is actually closer to "dahm" (between a short "u" and an "a" as in "palm")
kiakaha
fuk = squashdum = black prik = chili The word for black is actually closer to "dahm" (between a short "u" and an "a" as in "palm") hence the reason why thai transliteration approaches are just far too subjective to be used seriously ..... ดำ

blindinbothears
The one that always gets me is the Thai word for the verb 'practice'... ฝึกหัด or 'feuk had' for non-Thai readers. The transliteration doesn't do it justice (as aforementioned by another poster) but ask a Thai person to say it...
