In today's bangkok post - Robots are being developed to respond to emmotions with a view to becomming companions to the lonely . They say sex with robots also is being developed with robots giving different signals and sounds depending on where they are touched !

I suppose quite a few positives , no arguments , no chatter unless you want it etc

Personally I think if you are lonely and need companionship , not many things could replace a dog .
