Hi , The ministry of Public health has a nice park where you can walk your dog: near Ngam Wong Wan: see previous posts about it.

Not too many strays about there.

Depend where you live in Bangkok.

Sukhumvit?, perhaps you have to take them to department store when they hold dog show compettiton. Sirikit convention centre next month, will have one.

Chitralada Palace in Dusit district also some people take thier dogs walking along the fence of the palace. There is walking track along the fence.

Hi again,

to get to the Ministry of Public health: you have to take the elevated hyway then get off at the NgamWonWan exit: a little bit of side strets but if you look on a map, not too hard to find.

A few street dogs at the entrance of the park but once on the other side of the bridge, it's fairly safe. Yesterday we went there and my whippet got to play with a couple of golden retreivers. She was running like mad. Fell into the ponds a few times but was able to let off some steam. She slept well on the way home.

Seems that all the dogs within the park that I have met so far are very friendly.

Walking on the streets requires a good eye to look out of rthe street ones: they all have their patch of road claimed.
