jokkel77
Hi! Me and my girlfriend are going to spend our holidays at the beginning of Janaury at Koh Samui. I've read many different comments in the WWW. Some say, the best time in Koh Samui is from the mid of December to April. Some say it would be best from April to September. Is it true that the rainy season ist from October to the mid of December? My question: Is it recommendable to spend holiday at the beginning of January? Thanks for short answers! Regards Jokkel77
sbk
Normally, the weather in january is great; warm during the day, cool at night. Now is supposed to be the middle of the rainy season (early nov) and the weather has been fabulous here on Koh Phangan. With global warming who knows what the weather will be like? So, I guess what I am saying is, it's a toss up, but you are probably safe.

In January it does start to get better,it will not be the hottest as the hottest month is April. But nevertheless the weather should be nice and warm..better than the winter in UK!!
