Hello All,

Does anyone know where I can obtain a Turks Cap? They are easily started from cuttings but I haven't seen any in Thailand.

They grow well in Texas, USA and I have also seen them in Hawaii.

I live near Cholburi.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike, do you mean turks cap hibiscus?

I have tons at my house including a dwarf version (smaller leaves, smaller flowers) so it is around. Best bet is to keep your eyes peeled, esp in the more rural areas, and stop and ask for a cutting when you see one. That is what I do :o

I didn't know it was in the hibiscus family. That picture looks like what I am after. I haven't seen any around Bangsaen where I live.

Thanks for the reply.

I can't remember the name in Thai, could be umbrella hibiscus (cha-ba rom: ชบา ร่ม)
