Hi Members, am now back in Thailand but had a problem with my my hotmail account and yahoo email account, i think was virus at internet cafe.now is ok as i have get notebook,the problem i have is i deleted 1 message in hotmail and 1 message in yahoo,i then stupidly empty the trash folder which i regret,is there anyway i can restore to get my messages again in hotmail and yahoo? thankyou very much in advance,i know there are very good members here ,thank you paul

Both Hotmail & Yahoo are web based services, so if you delete a mail from your inbox, and then empty the trash it's gone for good. In Hotmail's case deleted messages are automatically purged very day, in yahoo they remain in trash for a period and are then permanently removed.

On the basis of your post the answer is no, I'm afraid.

Both Hotmail & Yahoo are web based services, so if you delete a mail from your inbox, and then empty the trash it's gone for good. In Hotmail's case deleted messages are automatically purged very day, in yahoo they remain in trash for a period and are then permanently removed.

Click on the trash folder. They may still be there.

If the emails are important, try contacting their tech support and asking them to restore your mailbox to a particular date. They may oblige, they may ignore you. Save anything you created since.
