Borading For Dogs And Cats In And Around Bangkok

Featured Replies

Does anybody know a good boarding facility for dogs and cats? Preferably an air conditioned facility.

We previously boarded a dog nearly 4 years ago and it nearly died of pneumonia due to poor care and viral pneumonia from one of the other dogs. The veterinary service used by the boarding facility was incompetent and had no interest in its animal clients.

We boarded our cat and dog at Bangna pet hospital and also take them there for their care. They are very nice and we haven't had any problems.

Hi, may I know where exactly is this Bangna Pet Hospital? I live in Soi Lasalle, need to travel overseas for 2 wks and no one's home to look after my 2 big dogs. Would appreciate if you could share the information with me. Thanx

Hi, sorry for not being of much help in terms of boarding places, just I want to warn you about a place called "wordl pet angel", stay away from it, my dog died there.... the full story is in the link below,

Good luck

There is a place called "pet Paradise"across the river not far from Pinklao, it offers rooms with a/c and other amenities. I have not personally used it but website looks good and they have affiliation witrh an animal hospital should the pet get sick. It has a website, just google "Pet Paradise"+ Bangkok.

Maybe some other readers could advise re any personal experiences with the place.

As I assume you know, cats are happiest if they can stay in their familiar surroundings so getting someone in to stay with the cat rather than boarding the cat is usually best wherever it is possible.

I have boarded my Giant Schnauzer in their air conditioned rooms at Pet Paradise Park on 2 occasions, 10 days for each stay. I highly recommend them, the owner is a vet and speaks good English. You can see some more details and photos I already posted of Pet Paradise in this thread here:

Ari Pet Hospital

42 Soi Aree 5, Pahonyothin Rd,

Bankok

Tel: 0-2271-3182

I travel quite a bit so had to look around for a place I could trust. Going on three years now and no problems. If you live in the area, Dr Maitii will even arrange for a pick up.
