hi guys, sorry if this question has been asked before, but would be gratefull for your input, 5the thai wife assures me that if we buy some land (udon thani)we do not need permission to build a home on the land ! do you think that is correct, she says "its my land ill do what i please " what are your thoughts, cheers micky.

Of course you need a building permission from the land department. Not sure about the entire list of application documents, but the housing plans are only one of them.

in certain rural areas you don't. permit is issued by the village head.
