garnet Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 what do you estimate is the standard time it takes to get a UK spouse visa from original application to the visa being issued My friend the Thai lady is heavily pregnant her husband had to return to his employment in the UK Her only purpose in being in BKK is waiting for the visa and obviously she and her husband hoped to have their child in the UK a rough time estimate would help her make short term plans for the future Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although from walking in the visa office door, to stamp in the passport can take a few days more, if further medical examinations are required. John.....
