muaythaifarang
Hi Guys and Gals, Im coming back to Phuket on Sep 10. Last time i came alone, this time i am bringing my wife and children. Last time I stayed a month and trained Muaythai and whilst there i was exposed to Buuddhism and its teachings. Since being back in the western world I have read up alot about Theravada buddhism and the teachings of Ajahn Chan and Ajahn Bramh. Whilst I am back in Phuket i will be living near WAt Chalong and I would love it if someone would "show me the ropes" as to how to give offerings and what i am meant to do when i visit a WAT. Obviously there are offerings for Buddha but I would love some help on this when I go there? Anyone? Rgds
Nampeung
Since you will be in the area go to Shanti Lodge for dinner and ask Kim the owner, she'll help you and probably send one of her English speaking staff with you to the temple. Shanti is 1.5 km south of Wat Chalong see here http://www.shantilodge.com/shanti-phuket-c-13.html
