Anyone Know Of Good Travel Agents In Bkk?

Featured Replies

Hello all.

My wife will be travelling from Bangkok to London Heathrow soon and we are looking for a 3 one way tickets for my wife child and infant.

Want a direct flight as we have children and want to keep the cost down as much as possible so after an economy flght. Can anyone supply contact details of any good travel agents, preferably one who takes a credit card over the phone for ease of payments.

Thanks very much.

Regards slippery

Why not try EVA airlines direct on the internet. They fly direct to Heathrow and to my mind are the best airline. Just log on, put in your details and you may be surprised at the price. (evaair.com)

Beware of EVA airlines. I bought tickets back in April, then a month ago, they emailed saying that my flight had been cancelled. I was on the phone for an hour trying to get different flights (instead of one stop over, they wanted me to add an overnight in LA or Frisco. At my cost, And not even enough of a stopover to enjoy the city). As I couldn't agree at the time, I left the ticket as is. A little later, I saw that the flight had NOT been cancelled, but they were a lot more expensive. So they were going to run me all over CA when I wanted to go to WA, at extra cost (mine), when all the time that flight had NOT been cancelled. I'm still waiting to find out about my tickets...

Well we can all only speak as we find, and I have used EVA for a few years now and never a problem and considering it is a direct flight to Heathrow the prices are always competetive with the supposedly cheaper airlines that go via other countries.

Can recommend Stang Travel on Sukhumvit Soi 4 - although living in Phitsanulok, the wife and I have used them on several occaisions - notably quite recently when we had to dash back to UK at very short notice - we ended up with seats in two days at a better price than we've paid booking well in advance. As things were such a rush we picked the tickets up from them on the way to airport and got a free minibus from their office to Suvarnabhumi !!

Excellent service, good spoken english - nothing was too much trouble

Scaremongering - an eva air flight bkk-lon will never be cancelled.

It's not bkk-lon.

What do you mean by 'Scaremongering'?

When I saw the flight had not been cancelled (even though the emails said it had), I immediately thought they were trying to recoup due to the crazy oil prices. But isn't this handled by a petrol surcharge?
