Ups, Dhl, Fedex Delivery To Village?

Featured Replies

Has anyone received a delivery from UPS, DHL or FEDEX in the village far from a city in Thailand? I am located 120k from Ubon Ratchathani near the Chong Mek border and my potential employer needs to send me an employment package.

I checked on the internet for offices in Ubon Ratchathani but did not find any. Does any one from the area know of any place in Ubon?

Years ago when I lived in Southern Leyte, Philippines I had a bad experience with FEDEX. I finally tracked down my package that was sitting in Manila and was going to be sent back to the states because they did not deliver to that area plus they did not even contact me. I eventually was able to have it forwarded onto one of their affiliate offices in Cebu and held for me then after I took a 12 hour boat ride I finally had package in hand.

Thanks

No problem with a FEDEX delivery from Aust. to our village some 95 km NE of Udon Thani.

You should not have a problem if it is addressed correctly, as I once received a package in Sirindhorn near you OK ..

Make sure the local phone number given to the courier has a Thai-speaker available to give directions. Thai DHL etc. drivers fail to find our place every time, and it's a bloody great condo building :o

It can't hurt to have a label on the package with the delivery address written in Thai.
