.

RIP to the unfortunate lady.

Condolences to the family and friends.

I hope they catch the driver

Moo9 you have no idea if the driver was drunk or not.

So put a sock in it.

This could be the same as any other accident in Thailand when the driver runs away.

from the scene of an accident..

Shameless behavior for the Thais or for who ever was driving.

Running away seems to be a favourite amongst those causing accidents here. Not just car drivers, but lorry drivers and even bus drivers (complete with passengers on board).

Some people simply 'panic' and later hand themselves in, but others expect to get away with murder literally. Tossers.

Pattaya 3 Road is a Fast stretch of road just before dawn, RIP to the girl.

I live near Third Road and I am always happy if I can make it to the opposite side alive. No traffic lights, no bridges, just cars and motorcycles in every direction. A couple of days ago I was almost run down by a motorcycle because I looked only to my right before I wanted to cross the first half of the street. The motorcyle came full speed from the left. (I know, my mistake.)

I read this story and was horrified, well the police have the number plate, so it should not be so hard to catch the culprit, only problem is about how to prove who was driving?, gor sure they will say it was not them and it was someone else who used the car but they cannot remember who.. oh yeah plus a little tip to the police officer.

The poor lady. To have some ar$ehole knock her

down and leave her dead on the side of the road

makes me sick to the core.

I use to run along this stretch of road early in the morning

but stoped after seeing to many Thais trying to do their

best Michael Schumacher impressions with total lack of

awarness of anyone around them.

Appalling behaviour and a pointless waste.

Dragging a motorbike 200 metres, the time, the location, the local attitude to drinking and drink-driving and non-enforcement of traffic legislation leads me to wager the driver was legless.

As Tony Clifton always points out, the most dangerous thing about Thailand is the roads and the drivers.

I would agree that the driver was probably legless, early hours of the morning in Pattaya driving home ........ Police have the number plate so it will be closed soon.

It will be interesting to see if the driver was Thai or Farang.

As well as the Thais, there are lots of Farangs in Thailand that drive whilst totally slaughtered, neither want to get caught when involved in an accident whilst under the infuence of Alcohol or drugs.
