August 10, 200817 yr You will get far more information & responses on the 'Visa & Immigration Forum' In the past it was impossible to change a tourist visa to a non-imm while still inside Thailand. But these days I hear of people getting the non-imm while in Thailand. Not sure is that is true ??? Why not ask at your closest Immigration Office.

Cheers, jeff Cannot offer advice to change to a non-O only but at Jomtien (Pattaya) if you are going to get a retirement visa you can get a non-O in the process of changing directly from a 30 day VOA to retirement. I am assuming it is to following the regs for getting a retirement visa.
