Two questions: (1) Is there much price difference between Thailand and the U.S or Canada for DSLR cameras? (2) If I buy a camera in the U.S. or Canada will I be able to get a manual in Thai? Are these manuals available online? Can one order one? Thanks.

When deciding where to buy price should not be the sole arbiter.

Your should also consider where you will spend most of your time

and what guarantee is provided with the camera.

A US/Canadian guarantee may not include cover in Asia,

and vice versa.

For the manuals I suggest you look at the manufacturers web site and look for the

Support section.

You will often find the manuals available for download.

Whether there will be one in Thai, is another matter.

Cameras sold in Thailand often do have an Asian manual, including Thai.
