Cat Compatible Tot Line ?

Featured Replies

Sorry if the question is silly one :o

As far as i understand and after having spent 4hours on this forum and others place i arrived at the conclusion that in phuket cat hinet is the fastest and more reliable internet access.

I have so far 2 cat evdo aircard sierra connections abd was quite happy but sucks since 2 months.

As i am mooving into a new house with 2 ground lines from TOT i was wondering if CAT hinet can be an isp for me or if i am stucked with tot goldcyber which seems not that good according to what i read on this??.

I need fast internet but dont want to pay 84000 baths per month for an optical leased line.

No, you can't get CAT on a TOT line.

For their proper packages they will pull a dedicated phone line (no phone service though, only ADSL) to your house.

On a TT&T you can get the basic 2Mpbs Hinet (called T-speed) package for 999 Baht/month, but this is relatively high shared.

The premium packages (very good stable speed) need the dedicated cable as per above. You obviously also have to be within a certain distance from one of their DSLAM's.

Ask at the CAT office, they know where they can give service.
