Travel Details After Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi,

on the application form, it states:

"Travel details after Thailand

It is important to be as detailed as possible. It may be that you are flying back to the UK from Thailand however, if, for example, you intend travelling overland from Thailand to Singapore to join a flight from there this could affect the type of visa you require because flights from other countries are not recognised by the Thai authorities"

I am wanting a non immigration O visa, multiple entries, however after say, 3 months, I do intend to travel to Japan for a few months, and back to Thailand after that. Is this a problem? Also, I do not have the flight ticket to Japan from Thailand - I was hoping to buy a ticket to Japan in Thailand. Can I just state on the application form for Travel details after Thailand .. go to Japan (?)

Another thing - is it possible for me to fly to Singapore for a trip sometime during my stay in Thailand? I don't really understand what it means by it could affect the type of visa on the form.

Thanks for any help

ps. live in UK

I suspect you will apply at Hull or other Honorary Consulate. If you don't know plans just say so. A multi entry visa allows unlimited entry/exit for one year so you are free to travel as you like.

The questions are designed to answer if you would need more than one tourist visa for your travels - you are not making application for tourist visa.
