Saraburi Bypass

Featured Replies

The Saraburi bypass is half open.

If coming south on Hwy 2, get off the main highway about km 114, opposite the  MAKRO outlet.  about 2 km on take the marked left on to the new 4-lane bypass all the way down to where it rejoins the main highway at about km 100 south of Saraburi.

The other bypass isn't open as yet but soon.

Thanks for the heads-up Mac!

So does it join Highway 1 (I assume that's what you mean by main highway) north of the junction onto the No. 9 ringroad?

Should shave a bit between our places next to Rangsit Khlong 3 and Khao Yai. :o

I just had a quick look on google earth and the bypass is about 2.5km longer than the original road. I've never been held up anywhere near saraburi so i would only suggest using the bypass if you know it will be busy the other way at that time of day.
