I'm with TOT and like many others are somewhat unhappy as on occassions download speed is down to single figures. I have read about CAT...my wife phoned them and they are coming to look...apparenty they don't supply a phone line just a copper cable.

Anyone any experiance of CAT Internet. Is it out of the frying pan!!

I also want to use the latest WIFI 5300, new computer coming soon. Hopefully I can obtain an abg Draft N firewall router..if thats what I need...apparenty it will give better reception at a greater distance in the house. Some advice/comment please.

I have CAT, TOT and TT&T and CAT is by far the best one. That probably say more about TOT and TT&T probably.

I have CAT. Not the 10,000B model as my computer only cost 5,000. It's slow and throttles uTorrents and YouTube too. All and all it's better than nothing cause a land line is out of the question.

Can anyone tell me if SIERRA wireless aircard 881U can be used with CAT? I am a MAC OS 10 user. I wanna to join the CAT GRPS/Edge service with this aircard. Not sure if this is appliable. Thanks! Also, where can i get more service information on CAT?

No, CAT uses the CDMA-EVDO network, which is not compatible with your card's GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA system. For this you'll have to buy a dedicated CDMA EV-DO card from CAT!

CAT's coverage is also limited, with especially greater Bangkok and the whole Eastern Seaboard not being covered. This might change in the future though if and when Hutch will take over the marketing for CAT (Hutch actually controls the 2 previous mentioned areas).
