Can anyone suggest where I can get a new battery for an IBM Think Pad T21 laptop. I am in Chiang Mai.

Thank you gentlemen, the osakabatt site wanted lots of plugins which I avoid, and I cannot use as I am a Linux box and I do not have an EBay account.

Also I think Paypal are a bunch of crooks but thanks anyway.

Try this It has worked for me and maybe for you too.

Take the battery out of the machine.

Carefully take the battery to bits. You will find on-line tutorials to help.

Work out what size and capacity rechargeable batteries are being used inside.

Buy new batteries and replace.

If the above would challenge your technical skill set , take the battery down to Pantip or Fortune where you will find somebody who will do it for an extra B200-500.

Smart Tech---top floor Pantip Plaza--they got/can get batteries for most notebooks--my Acer 1694 Aspire WLMi, price from Acer 4,780 Baht and from these guys 2,900 Baht.
